Denis was born in Bridgetown, Barbados and has been a member of the greater Toronto Tenpin Bowling Association for 23 years

Denis joined the Board of the Greater Toronto Tenpin Bowling Association as a Director in 1980. He served as Vice-President for 5 years before becoming association President, a position he held for 4 years. He has served on all committees of the board. Denis was the 700 club Tournament Director for 10 years and has bowled in 15 GTTBA Local Association Tournaments.

For the past 14 years, he has served on the Ontario Men’s Provincial Board as a Director. During that time he attended all meeting and Jamborees. Currently bowling in 3 leagues, Denis has held the position of Secretary in the Barbados Ex-Police League for 22 years.

In the 1998 Ontario Provincial Men’s Tournament, Denis recorded a high triple of 721, and a high single of 286.

Denis has attended 20 ABC conventions and has bowled in 20 ABC National tournaments. He has been a Certified Lane Inspector and Coordinator for the Toronto Associations for 15 years.

Denis was made a Life Member of the Greater Toronto Tenpin Bowling Association in 1991.

Married to June for 24 years, each year they both travel to the WIBC National Tournament.

Denis has been a pressman with MacMillan Bathurst for 30 years. As well as enjoying the game of Tenpins, Denis and June have been season ticket holders with the Blue Jays for many years.
