JACK P. BRACE

Jack Brace was born in Hamburg, New York on April 13th, 1953. He has been a member of the Greater Toronto Tenpin Bowling Association for thirty years and served as a Director on the Board for one term.

His bowling career has spanned four decades beginning in the early nineteen sixty era as a junior bowler where he started his winning ways.

Jack’s bowling credentials have resulted in his induction into our Hall of Fame.

His performance in Toronto leagues and our Annual Association Championship Tournament have given him seven Scratch Team Championship Titles, three Scratch Singles Titles and three Scratch All-Events Titles. He has bowled over one hundred 700 series, three 300 Games, four 299 Games and a High Three Game Series of 816. His four Game Series of 1095 (273.75 average) is a Canadian Record.

A member of the Greater Toronto Tenpin Bowling Association “All Star Team” eight times and “Bowler of the Year” three times, Jack has been an ambassador representing Toronto bowlers on and off the lanes in Canada, United States, Finland, Thailand and Scotland.

Over the past twenty-eight years Jack has maintained a composite average of 194 with a single season high average of 219.

The Hall of Fame is pleased to induct Jack P. Brace.
