EARL DEMMERY

Earl Demmery was born in Toronto, March 1949. He was a member of the Greater Toronto Tenpin Bowling Association for over 20 years and served as a league President and Secretary/Treasurer numerous years.

For his performance in both Toronto and Hamilton leagues and tournaments, Earl achieved 11 - 300 games, 50+ 700 series. He participated in 15 Association Tournaments, 15 Provincial Tournaments and 11 ABC National Tournaments including the ABC Masters Tournament.

In 1982 Earl won the Hoinke Doubles title, placed 2nd in the ABC Reno Championships. Between 1982 and 1985 he won 4 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze Medals at the Tournament of the Americas in Miami, Florida. During this time Earl represented Canada in the Pan American Games in Cuba and placed 4th and 6th.

In 1991 Earl was named Canadian Bowler of the Year and was nominated for the Canadian Amateur Athlete of the Year.

Earl was Bowler of the Year for Hamilton District Bowling Association and was twice Bowler of the Year of the Greater Toronto Tenpin Bowling Association. He was also a member of the All Star Team seven times.

Earl was a member of two Canadian Tenpin Federation teams.

The Hall of Fame is pleased to induct Earl Demmery for his Distinguished Performance on the Lanes.
